My proper noun is Andre Da Costa; an Contained Consultant, Windows Insider MVP and Windows & Devices for Information technology MVP. I'm here to help y'all with your problem.

Are you using a third political party app pretending to be YouTube from the Microsoft Shop?

Considering Google does non officially have a YouTube app for Windows x. The visitor zealously guards which platforms the app is available on, so far, thats Android and iOS.

Whoever made that app, likely doesn't have the advisable hallmark rights to admission certain protocols that would allow the upload from Windows 10.

For now, you just have to practice it the old way, sign into YouTube through your spider web browser and upload the video from File Explorer.

Equally far as I'1000 aware, I have no third party apps that pretend to exist YouTube. The only third political party YouTube client app I utilise is myTube!, and that i does not provide a share characteristic to upload to YouTube. To be sure, I uninstalled myTube!, but the "Upload to YouTube" share feature notwithstanding appears in the Photos app. I've noticed that there are several submissions to the Feedback hub that detail the same problem, and some are from as contempo as about 2 weeks agone to about a twelvemonth agone:

Kim D feedback - 10 months ago

I noticed the share feature on ii of my Windows x devices that are both on Version 1809 and they both experience the aforementioned thing.

I exercise have an Android phone linked to my computer yep. However, I've been scouring the internet, and from what I've noticed then far is that the "Upload to YouTube" option in the Share carte du jour has been in the Photos app since the Fall Creators' Update (V. 1709). So I believe that a recent update to the Photos app broke the functionality. You can see in this tweet what used to happen when you would utilize the Upload to YouTube share option.

OK, so I have the Google Authenticator app on my phone already. I tin cull whether or not I utilise the Authenticator app when I'm signing into my Google business relationship during the process of setting upward the "Upload to YouTube" share. Mostly I don't need to utilise the Authenticator app considering Google just displays a prompt on my phone for the 2FA.

In any case, having the Google Authenticator app does not resolve the upshot for me. After signing in and verifying myself with the 2FA, I notwithstanding get the screen where it says to enter the code into the awarding. That code is not meant to exist put in Google Authenticator, as when I tried to Google Authenticator told me that the key that I entered independent an invalid grapheme.

For anyone that was post-obit, or looking upward this problem:
To me, it appears that Microsoft was getting rid of this feature simply happened to get out parts of it in that build of the Photos app, because now when I go to share a video from the Photos app, the "Upload to YouTube" selection is not there. I believe a recent update with the Photos app has gotten rid of the faulty share feature completely. Hopefully they re-add information technology back at some betoken.
