The Blaze of Glory is an innovation in itself. Based on the silhouette of the Disc Blaze, Puma renounced their Disc System and bet on conventional laces again. And quite successfully so: In the blink of an eye the Blaze of Glory became one of Puma's most popular models. The Blaze of Glory Sock is one innovative step further. It sets itself apart by an elastic heel segment and a neopren sockliner. It's like the BoG enjoyed a nice summer treatment. And just in time for vacation season, Puma is continuing that course with the Ice Cream Pack. Three colorways – black, yellow and beige – are already on the starting blocks.

Puma is keeping their cards close to their chests so far, but we will keep you informed about the detailed release information.

Man könnte meinen, der Blaze of Glory wäre schon eine Innovation für sich. Basierend auf der Silhouette des Disc Blaze, verzichtete Puma auf das innovative Disc System und setzte wieder auf herkömmliche Schnürsenkel. Und es funktionierte: Schnell mauserte sich die Silhouette zu einem der beliebtesten Pumas überhaupt. 2016 geht die Marke aus Herzogenaurach noch einen Schritt weiter – mit dem Blaze of Glory Sock. Im Gegensatz zu seinem Vorgänger zeichnet sich dieser durch elastisches Material im Fersenbereich, sowie einem Neopren-Sockliner aus. Es ist quasi der Blaze of Glory auf Sommerurlaub. Und diese Saison wird nach dem R698 Women Patent Nude Pack mit dem Ice Cream Pack des BoG konsequent fortgesetzt. Drei Colorways – schwarz, gelb und beige – stehen in den Startlöchern. Besonders der letztere dürfte sich großer Beliebtheit erfreuen.
